Katie's April Favourites.

April has been an busy month for me, I have loved a lot of things. Firstly, I'd like to say that there is only a few things as I haven't really bought anything new as such. As Spring is slowly approaching I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone & try "new" beauty products. 

A few months ago I stopped wearing bronzer. One day I just decided not to apply bronzer. Since then I've been wearing blush over my foundation and powder. At the beginning of this month I applied some bronzer & I'm fell back in the love. I use the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder. I only use a small amount as I'm quite fair skinned. So, I use the lightest shade. Has done wonders for me. I really like it. It isn't too orange nor too dark. 

This month I have been loving nude nail varnish's. I prefer soft shades on my nails than bold & bright. Recently, my mum bought a nice nude shade "Café Au Lait" from Sally Hansen at Boots. I've been wearing it so much this last few weeks. I tend to bite my nails & whilst I've had this on my nails I haven't bit them once. I'm very proud of myself. It's an amazing shade, defiantly not fully nude. It has a peachy undertone to it. I've done a review on" this which I'll link below. 

Revlon have been on a roll with their Colour Burst Lip products. This month I bought a Lacquer Balm in the shade "Provocateur". I've used this so many times now. A pale pinky/cream eyeshadow, a light dusting on bronzer, then I'll have a bold red lip. It's a gorgeous orange red, it's the only tone of red that suits me. I dab & rub some off if I don't want a full bold lip, but still want a redness to my lips. Also, I get dry lips often so if you're like me this is amazing to banish the dryness. 

Lastly is an eyeshadow from Urban Decey Vice 2 palette. I use this a lot on a day-to-day basis. The most used shade is probably "Dope". It's a gorgeous warm champagne satin shade. Perfect for the natural look. I got this palette for Christmas & its beautiful. I haven't stopped using this since I got it. The eyeshadows are very pigmented & not chalky at all.
