Katie's January Favourites!

Throughout January I have loved many things, beauty products, skin care, food, a song & film, but these are my top favourites!

Firstly, I'd like to say I'm sorry my January favourites are quite late. I've been busy with re-designing the blog.
This month I have gotten into hair care. Hair masks, styling sprays, at the moment I'm wanting to try anything that'll be good for my hair.
So to start off this months favourite is Toni&Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray . I use it on dry hair, a few spray, give my hair a little shake with my hand & I get instant texture. I'm even using it when I have my hair in a pony tail. I like it a lot.
Last weekend I treated my cousin to lunch & while we were out I spotted an Argan Oil hair mask in a local pharmacy shop only for £1.00! I have used it once after I had my hair ombre'ed & it has done wonders to my hair, especially the ends which can get very dry. I slapped this all over my hair whilst in the shower, left it for 10 minutes, rinsed it out & my hair was so hydrated & feeling very heathly.

Now onto skin care & there's only one thing as I haven't recently bought anything new skin care products this month. I've already wrote a post about this product, but that was when I first started using it. Now, it's been a month or so & Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion proven itself to be the best moisturiser I've ever used. It doesn't leave my skin sticky, gooey, it does its thing. Makes my skin feel refreshed, smooth, healthy. I got this moisturiser when I bought my 3-step skin care system. If you have dry skin or any dry patches, I recommend you buying this. It'll sort your dryness out straight away.

I've always loved Zara. Their clothes, bags, perfume. Especially their perfumes. I have a few of them & "Women Cherry" has got to be in my top 5. Its a sweet, girly scent. Smells like cherries & summer. Takes me back to my childhood when I'd go to the local market with my nan & grandad. Its a scent to wear during the day, it doesn't leave a trail behind you. I have found that I do need to take it with me when I go out to top it up otherwise It'd wear off, but that's something I don't mind. It only cost me £5.99 which, for a perfume is very cheap. Unfortunately my local Zara didn't have it in a bigger bottle, so I'm going to keep checking to see if they do.

When it comes to lipsticks, I prefer a lipstick that isn't dry. I prefer the balm like ones. So when I first got a Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter they quickly became my favourite lip product. I have dry lips & this keeps them very hydrated. "Juicy Papaya" & "Berry Smoothie" are my favourites. One down side is that as its a lip butter it doesn't last very long. I do have to keep touching up.

And that's it. My January favourites. I think Clo & I will be doing a monthly favourites from now on. :)
