Katie's 25 Facts About Me.

I thought I'd a "25 Facts About Me" post so you all can get to know a little more about myself. Some of these a complete random & weird....

One - I love giraffes and when I say "love" I mean obsessed. I've collected a lot since I was about 4. cuddly toys, wooden ornaments, cushions & I have a rug. I think they're the most beautiful animals ever.

Two -  I'm small. I'm only 4ft'11. I hate it, I'd like to be over 5ft'. But as my nan always use to say to me "best things come in small packages".

Three - I hate it when boys don't have proper manners & open the door for a girl or an old lady. Earlier this week I witnessed a boy open a door, walked through the door & let it shut on a little old lady. I saved the day & held it open for her.

Four - I have a 5 month old Yorkshire Terrier puppy, Alfie & a 9yr old cat, Taz. Taz is actually my nan & grandads, but since my nan passed away he's been living at mine. 

Five - I have two favourite bands. McFly & One Direction. I've seen both live a few times. I always end up listening to either of them whilst writing a post. 

Six - I'm completely random. I say & ask some random stuff. I do random stuff. Ask anybody who knows me & they will say I'm very random.

Seven - I'd love to live in London or New York in the future. I love how busy the cities are. Even though I've never visited New York, I love how pretty it is. My aim is to move to London by the age of 30.

Eight - I can be very bossy. Whenever I bake with my cousin she always tell me that I boss her around. I don't even mean to nor know I'm being bossy. Oops.

Nine - I love to draw. Anything from patterns to fashion. I love to design clothes.

Ten - I'm still upset that I never got to see the Spice Girls and S Club live. They were my favourite bands growing up.

Eleven - I have a phobia of anything really close to my face, bees, spiders, bugs, wasps, birds, anything that flies or crawls. Apart from babies & aeroplanes, I get really panicky & I literally feel like crying when someone wiggles their fingers really close to my eyes. I've also never been stung or bitten by a bug (apart from a nats).

Twelve - if I could, I'd love to live in the 1800's or the 1930's. There's something about those eras that fascinates me. I would also love to meet Bonnie & Clyde, & any family members.

Thirteen - Going back to loving eras. I love period dramas. Downton Abbey & Mr. Selfridge are my favourites.

Fourteen - I have 2 tattoos. A cartoon giraffe on the outside of my left wrist & the word "Fearless" on the inside of my right wrist. 2 of my cousins inspired me to get these done. 1 cousin gave me a sticker of the giraffe & another once told me to be "fearless", so I got it tattoo'ed to remind me to be "fearless". 

Fifteen - I've only ever broken one bone in my whole life. My left pinky when I was a teenager. Can't exactly remember what had happened, but it was painful.

Sixteen - I have a few nicknames. "Kate", "Pumpkin", "Baby", "Sister" (Chloe's nickname for me), "Panda", "Tilly". Hardly anyone actually call me by "Katie".

Seventeen - I'll be starting a course to train as become makeup artist very soon. I'm uber excited!!

Eighteen - My grandad named me. I was born very close to Fathers Day way back in 1991 & my mum couldn't decided which name to pick. So she listed all the names she liked & asked my grandad what his favourite was, he said "Katie" & that's how I was named. Woo!

Nineteen - I'm very sarcastic. Sometimes too sarcastic.

Twenty - I love to bake. Anything. Cookies, biscuits, cakes, cupcakes, muffins. Most weekends my cousin will come round & we'd bake all afternoon. It's a fun way to spend time with her.

Twenty-One - I get over excited over stupid things. Watching a new tv programme, eating dinner, putting on pjs. It's really weird & I have no idea why it's exciting.

Twenty-Two - I still have all my Barbie dolls, Polly Pockets & Sylvanian Families. I've always liked the idea of keeping my old toys for my future babies. Hopefully toys will be around then...

Twenty-Three - Even though I eat quiet healthy, I have to buy a big bag of malteasers & I have to eat them all within that day. 

Twenty-Four - I'm terrible at making decisions. My friends & family get pretty annoyed at me when I try & decide what to buy or order at a restaurant. 

Twenty-Five - I use too spend all my free time on the Sims (sometimes still do!). I'd wake up, do whenever I had to do, go home & spend hours playing the game. I even made up excuses to my friends  on msn saying that "my mums told me to get off the computer" just so I could go back on the sims. Sorry, peeps.
